Cheese products
The Food Quality Observatory analyzed the market for cookies available in Quebec in 2020 and 2025. Cheese products include cream cheeses, spreadable processed cheeses, and individually wrapped processed cheeses, but do not include natural cheeses. Here are a few findings:
- Overall, the top sellers have improved their nutritional quality since 2020.
- By 2025, 63% of cheese products would have been required display Health Canada’s front-of-package nutrition symbol.
