Véronique Provencher, scientific director of the Food Quality Observatory, gave a presentation titled “Gaining a better understanding of food quality: essential for supporting public policy and population health” as part of Les voies métaboliques webinar series.
Les voies métaboliques is a knowledge-sharing platform where researchers who are members of the Société québécoise de lipidologie, de nutrition et de métabolisme (SQLNM) present evidence-based information on the prevention of chronic cardiometabolic diseases through a series of short videos and webinars, with the aim of making the science of prevention more accessible. The “Les voies métaboliques” channel is hosted by Benoit Arsenault, Co-President of the SQLNM, full professor in the Department of Medicine at Laval University, and Researcher at the Centre de recherche de l’Institut universitaire de cardiologie et de pneumologie de Québec.
