Maybe you’ve already seen it while grocery shopping? A small magnifying glass has started appearing on some food products. Starting January 1, 2026, this new symbol will be mandatory.
Veronique Provencher and Sonia Pomerleau of the Food Quality Observatory contributed to the report in the newspaper Le Soleil to discuss Health Canada’s front-of-package labeling and its impact on consumers and the industry.
